Rector Takes Gold in Women's Power Lifting(14-16) at ShowMe Games

Lauren Rector of Jefferson City MO, took the gold medal in Women's Power Lifting in the 14-16 yr old females division, 220 weight class.

She bench pressed 115 lbs, breaking the Missouri state record was of 105 lbs. set in 2000. Lauren dead-lifted 310 lbs. breaking the state record of 200 lbs. set in 2000. Rector also bested the combined state record by 120 lbs. in age and weight class.

Lauren tied for the overall women's score at the games with a combined weight total of 425 lbs. 

She shared that honor with a 24 yr. old personal trainer.

This was Lauren's first competition of any type.

I Like to Watch The #Masters

I've enjoyed following this tourney siince 1986 when Jack won. I enjoyed seeing Tiger win his first.  It looks like today we could see either an old pro, Fred Couples or a very young Jordan Spieth take the green jacket.

UCM Mules in Final Four

Mules are headed back to the Final Four! UCM beats Southern Connecticut State 98-88. Daylen Robinson had a career-high 28 pts.
