On Saturday(10/29/11) the University of Missouri defeated Texas A&M at College Station Texas.
While that game was going on, a little east of there the University of Arkansas defeated Vanderbilt.
Last year it was announced that Corbin Berkstresser, of the Lee's Summit Tigers would sign with the Missouri Tigers. He is a freshman on their roster.
Earlier this summer, Davis McElroy, the other senior quarterback from the Lee's Summit Tigers last year walked on to the field at Arkansas and asked if he could play. He is not on the travel squad, but has proven good enough to practice with the team and be listed on the roster.
There has been a lot of discussion over the past few weeks about teams switching conferences. I don't wish to discuss that now. I'm really not sure where I stand on it anyway.
Just tell me this Lee's Summit Tiger fans, when the University of Missouri announced they were moving to the SEC, did anyone else anticipate this future match up of former team mates?
