The Park Hill South Panthers used a strong second half shooting performance to pull away from the Raymore-Peculiar Panthers 52-29 in the Cardinal Division of the American Family Insurance Holiday Classic at William Jewell College.
Park Hill South led 20-11 going into halftime only shooting 44.7 percent but held Ray-Pec to 26.7 percent.
In the second half Park Hill South shot a blistering 61.1 percent from the field more than doubling their first half point total.
Anthony Woods led Park Hill South with 12 points while Hudson Welty added 11 and Ryan Welty tossed in 10.
Ben Harris was the lone Ray-Pec player in double figures with 11.
Park Hill South will next take on Blue Springs Friday at 12:00 p.m.
