The St. Pius X Warriors staged a dramatic fourth quarter rally and defeated the Harrisonville Wildcats 63-60 in game six of the American Family Insurance Holiday Classic in the Patterson Division at William Jewell College.
The Warriors entered the fourth quarter down by ten. St. Pius then went on a 13-6 run to close the gap to three points.
Brian Kaufmann hit a three pointer with St. Pius X down by two to give the Warriors their first lead since the first half and a lead they would hang on to for the victory.
Kaufmann led all scores with 32 points and Luke Hoban contributed 13 for the Warriors
Matthew Prindle led the Wildcats with 22 points.
St. Pius X moves on to play Rockhurst on Friday at 7:30 p.m
