If you know how to follow the #hashtags, Twitter can be as good as #Sportscenter.
You can also choose the story to follow. If you have set the dvr to record #NDvsBAMA you simply search the hashtag #mopreps and you can keep up on the high school games around the state of Missouri.
This allows you to avoid news of the #BCS game.
If you are across the state line, #kspreps will keep you posted on Kansas High School scores. Not all states appear to use the two letter abbreviation+prep as their hashtag.
When you get home from your boys #hoops practice, you can watch #NDvsBAMA in its entirety. Of course I fast forwarded and choose to watch a rerun of #ShippingWars.
