MVC WOMENS GOLF TEAM PLAYS AT BAKER UNIVERSITY SPRING INVITATIONAL

Marshall, Mo. (April 25, 2013)‐ The Missouri Valley College women's golf team played in the Baker University Spring Invitational, Baldwin City, Kan. this week. The Lady Vikings placed in seventh in field.

The top MVC finisher was Freshman Marissa Dove (Linwood, Kan.) who placed 21st with a 222 (+78). Freshman Jessica Crabtree finished placed 22nd with a 225 (+81),  while Freshman Rebecca Daolio (Campinos, Brazil) placed 26th with a 252 (+108) and Freshman Ashley Gibbs placed 27th with a 271 (+127). The Lady Vikings placed seventh as a team shooting a two‐day total of 970 (+394). Taking first place on the women's side Baker University that shot a two‐day total of 769 (+193).

The women's golf team is scheduled to play Next in the HAAC Championships April 29‐30 in Quincy, Ill.
