MVC WOMEN'S GOLF TEAM PLAYS AT HAAC CHAMPIONSHIP 

 

Marshall, Mo. (May 8, 2013)- The Missouri Valley College women's golf team took part in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship at the Spring Lake Country Club in Quincy, Ill.

 

The Lady Vikings finished seventh at the tournament shooting a two-round total of 929 (+353).  The Lady Vikings were led by Freshman Marissa Dove (Linwood, Kan.) who finished in 26th place with a two-round total of 221 (+77).  Freshman Jessica Crabtree (Willard, Mo.) placed 28th with a score of 227 (+83), Freshman Crystan Shafer (Lake Ozark, Mo.) took 30th shooting a 233 (+89), Freshman Rebecca Daolio (Campinas, Brazil) placed 31st shooting a 256 (+112) and Freshman Ashley Gibbs (Belton, Mo.) placed 32nd shooting a 272 (+128).

 

Baker University won the team championship with a two-round total of 747 (+171).

 

The HAAC Championship finishes the 2013 regular season for the Lady Viking golf team.
