The Harrisonville Wildcats survived a third quarter rally from Park Hill to advance in the Patterson Division on the consolation side in the American Family Insurance Holiday Classic at William Jewell College on Thursday.
The Wildcats led the Trojans 23-16 at halftime but the Trojans came out on fire and took a 28-27 lead with 4:52 to go in the third. After a three pointer by Ricky Trammel the Trojans built their largest lead of the game only to see the Wildcats fight back to claim the victory with a strong end of third and fourth quarter.
Harrisonville's Matthew Prindle led all scores with 26 and Brice Renner pitched in 12.
Dionte Wilson led the Trojans with 9 points.
Harrisonville will play for fifth place on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. against the winner of Kearney and Raytown.
