The Truman Patriots advanced in the American Family Insurance Holiday Classic with a 58-41 win over Kearney High School in the Patterson Division at William Jewell College.
After trailing 30-24 at halftime, the Bulldogs came out roaring in the third quarter and even took a lead twice in the third. The Patriots were able to answer back with a strong showing in the fourth quarter outscoring the Bulldogs 16-3.
Truman was led Titus Lane and Zack Huber who each scored 16 points.
Dray Starzl was the leading scorer for Kearney with 15.
Truman moves on to play Liberty High School on Friday night at 9:00 p.m.
