MVC MEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM DROPS ROAD MATCH TO PARK UNIVERSITY
Marshall, Mo. (January 31, 2013)- The No. 8 Missouri Valley College Vikings men's volleyball team dropped their second road conference game to No.1 Park University on Thursday night.
The Missouri Valley Viking men's volleyball fought hard but came up short falling 25-27, 21-25, and 15-25.
Junior Middle Blocker Jake Haar (La Mesa, Calif.) had nine kills and two blocks, while Sophomore Middle Blocker Zach Bumstead (St. Peters, Mo.) finished with five kills and two blocks. Sophomore Setter Joao Gurel (Rio de Janerio, Brazil) contributed 11 digs and Junior Setter Will McCracken (Goleta, Calif.) had 25 assists.
The loss drops the Vikings to 4-3 overall and 1-2 in MAMVIC play. Park University improves to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in conference. The Vikings will be in action again Feb. 7th as they host Hannibal-La Grange University in a MAMVIC conference match-up at Burns Athletics Complex. Game time is set for 7pm.
