Missouri Valley College lost both games of a doubleheader with Avila University 7-1 and 7-4. MVC drops to 1-9 overall and 0-2 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play. Avila improves to 11-7 overall and 2-0 in conference play. MVC will next play at Westminster College Tuesday in a doubleheader. First game is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
