MVC STUDENT-ATHLETES RECEIVE NAIA SCHOLAR ATHLETE HONOR
Marshall, Mo. (June 3, 2012)- The NAIA has announced the 2013 Spring Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes. To be eligible for this honor student-athletes must be nominated by their institution's head coach, must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status in the classroom.
Missouri Valley College student-athletes who achieved this honor were;
Chase Burgess (Jr., Lamar, Mo.)-Men's Track and Field
Tim Roddy (Jr., Yakima, Wash.)-Baseball
John Cozort (Jr., Potosi, Mo.)-Men's Golf
Jennifer Palmatory (Sr., Cairo, Mo.)-Softball
Mallory White (Sr., Marceline, Mo.)-Softball
Juan Gimenez (Jr., Barcelona, Spain)-Men's Tennis
Virginia Hutcherson (Jr., Marshall, Mo.)-Women's Tennis
