MVC GOLF TEAMS COMPETE AT WILLIAM WOODS OPEN
Marshall, Mo. (October 1, 2013)- The Missouri Valley College women's golf team competed at the William Woods Open in Fulton, Mo. Monday and Tuesday The women's team took fifth place at the Open.
The Vikings finished in fifth place with a team score of 791. The top women's finisher was Freshman Clarissa Molina (McCamey, Texas) who shot a two-round score of 175 (+31) finishing No. 18. The top team on the women's side was William Woods University that shot a 591.
The men's and women's golf teams will be back in action Oct. 7-8 when they host the MVC Fall Invitational at Indian Foothills Golf Course in Marshall, Mo.
